作者简介：
杰克·伦敦 Jack London，美国著名的现实主义作家、记者和社会活动家。1876年生于旧金山，1916年去世时年仅40岁。曾短暂入读加州大学伯克利分校，后因经济窘迫而辍学谋生。从1900年起，连续发表和出版了大量小说、报告文学、散文等，讲述下层民众的生活。其作 品带有浓厚的社会主义色彩，在各国读者中广为流传，为他赢得了世界性的声誉。代表作有《野性的呼唤》《海狼》《白牙》《马丁·伊登》等。
